Our professor has given us a tasked which is to do a PowerPoint presentation about digital application that can be used in the class and given us a guide on how to make and presentation. During my research on digital application I found a lot of application that is very useful in the class, but I choose slack. Slack is a messaging tool where you can communicate and collaborate to your students even when you are far from each other and also can create or make a chat room for their projects, files or create a room for private matters. Making this into PowerPoint presentation looks presentable and appropriate to our audience.
Doing this kind of activity makes me feel happy and enlightened because I discover a digital application that is useful to us and we’re can lighten our task. Through this kind of application teachers can used it even students for academic or business purposes. Also in making PowerPoint presentation that looks much better than my previous presentation that is just full of text.
This kind of activity is somehow difficult because you have to make sure that your lines and words are exact 6 cause if not you’ll be deducted for it is part of criteria. Also choosing an appropriate background,putting a picture that will be fitted into my discussion. But for me as a future educator it would be a big help to enhance my skills making a presentation and through this activity I explore and knew different kinds of digital application that will help me in the future.
Through this activity which is to looked for digital application and making a PowerPoint presentation out of it, given me an idea on how I will do to make my works easier like instead of postponing a class because something urgent came up I can used a digital application where still can collaborate and interact with each other and also with this I can provide them a better presentation that they will not get bored into my class but instead they will enjoy it and listen into my class.
This activity is a big help help to teachers, students and I to teach my students someday on what I will put into my presentation so that it will looked catchable and presentable. Also putting a graphics that is suitable to the presentation I am presenting. Having this which is using a digital application can make an improvement between teachers and students because even they are far from each other still they can consult regarding to the tasked given in the assignment, projects they will be doing and etc.
As a future educator I have now some strategies on how to make a presentation that my students will probably enjoy my class and make them comfortable with my presence through a digital application where I can interact with them. In that way they won’t feel uneasy towards me if they will asked about assignments,projects or tasked given to them and if they are problematic regarding to academics. With this I can say that through digital application and making better presentation I can help my students someday.
